In Session 1, students and parents will hear from Steven W. Ledbetter, Esq. (law), Jon Knott (finance), and David Joyner (insurance) on key issues facing young adults. Steven W. Ledbetter, Esq. will also explain what Advance Directives are, answer questions, and guide students through filling out the paperwork to prepare their documents.
In Session 2, Steven W. Ledbetter, Esq. will carefully review the completed legal documents, answer questions, and guide students through signing their Advance Directives to put them into effect.
While the workshop is held in two parts, families may choose the Session 2 date that works best for them—just be sure to attend Session 1 first, and then complete Session 2 in order.
Each workshop will be one hour long, held on weekday evenings to accommodate both students’ school and parents’ work schedules.
Workshops will be hosted at a convenient Venice location, with snacks, beverages, and all materials—like notepads and pens—provided for you.
A $200 fee covers the preparation and signing of your student’s Advance Directive documents—normally a $750 legal service.
Thanks to underwriting from Ledbetter Cowan Law Group, these essential legal protections are offered to families at a fraction of the usual cost.
